Uzdensky district

This region is called the "nightingale land". Uzdensky region is the small homeland of famous writers, poets and other artists. There are many inspiring places in this corner of Belarus where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the original architecture of the sights. Uzdensky region is one of the first places of Belarusian book printing. A follower of Francysk Skaryna, one of the outstanding figures of the Belarusian Renaissance, Simon Budny in 1572 wrote an introduction to the Bible, and the enlightenment brothers Kavechinsky - Dedication to it. The last sections of the Bible were printed in the Kuhtichi estate, which belonged to the Kavechinsky.
