Dzerzhinsk district
This is one of the most dynamically developing districts in the Minsk region. A new round of socio-economic development of the region as a whole and the district center-the city of Dzerzhinsk in particular-is associated with the acquisition of the status of a satellite city of Minsk. This status provides for large volumes of construction of housing, social facilities - schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, the development of transport infrastructure. Also in the area is the highest point of Belarus-Mount Dzerzhinskaya (345 m).
