One of the oldest churches in Belarus is located in the village of Vishnevo. On the facade of the church you can see the numbers 1424. This is the date when the first wooden Catholic church was built on this place, founded by Prince GDL Vytautas himself. The construction of a stone church on this site began in 1637-1641 with the participation of the noble family of Khreptovich. This church is unique in that it continued to operate even during the Soviet era. Its interior is well preserved, including stucco of the XVII century, a carved wooden altar of the XVIII century and paintings made by the Belarusian artist Ferdynand Ruszczyc, who is buried in the cemetery at the church. In the middle of the XIX century, the brama (gate) bell tower was built.
