This station is one of the oldest in Belarus and in 2021 it celebrated its 125th anniversary. Due to the swampiness of the area, the gati was laid between the settlements. So there was a railway, which became the starting point of the history of the city. Today, railway workers maintain the tracks, pass trains, ensure safety during their movement, send and receive cargo arriving at the enterprises of the district. On average, 9 freight, 2 passenger and 9 regional trains pass through the city every day. The station is adjacent to five access roads and attached to two stopping points-Alexandrovka and Apiary.
