“Oilcan”

Residents of the villages of Rechen, Zakalnoye, Otradnoye and Obchin are united by their love for the traditions of their ancestors, in particular, the national holiday “Maslenka”, which is held annually on Maslenitsa in one of the villages. A variety of treats, numerous songs and round dances, various amusements-Maslenitsa is celebrated widely and richly. The main symbol of the holiday is a colorful bright stuffed winter-each guest decorates with a colored ribbon that symbolizes the sins of a person. A special rite of purification is carried out, because burning together with the scarecrow, the ribbons free a person from everything bad.
