Chalk quarries

Near the village of Khotinovo there are “Belarusian Maldives” – amazingly beautiful chalk quarries filled with water. Previously, lime deposits were located here, today two quarries with azure water, light pine forest nearby are very popular with local residents and guests of the region. But we must remember that the shores are white because of their chalk composition, which becomes very slippery when in contact with water.
