Museum exposition of the Hero of Belarus M. S. Vysotsky

On August 1, 2008, in a house on the outskirts of ag. The house-museum of the Hero of Belarus, academician, general designer of MAZ Mikhail Stepanovich Vysotsky was opened in Semezhevo. The museum’s exposition is dedicated to the life and work of one of the founders of the Belarusian truck industry, an Honorary citizen of the Kopylsky district. M. S. Vysotsky never forgot about his native village, always tried to help his fellow countrymen. According to local residents, Mikhail Stepanovich repeatedly gave the equipment to the Semezhevsky collective farm, which was considered one of the most advanced in the country, for free after the tests.

Mikhail Vysotsky went down in history as the only general designer of MAZ and the only Belarusian who was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Industry of the USSR”.
