Traditions of straw weaving

Students of the folk straw weaving studio “Nathnenne” under the guidance of teachers are engaged not in souvenir work, but in creating exclusively costumes made of straw. Every summer, the children go to the field, where they manually reap rye or wheat, from the stems of which they then create unusual and amazing national costumes. First, the elements are made, then they are combined into original garments.
