The manor house, where Ivan Kolodeev, a historian, a founding member of the Russian Military Imperial Society, a chamberlain of His Majesty’s Court, the founder of the Novo – Borisovsky Pоsad, a collector who collected the largest collection of Napoleonics in Europe, a bibliophile, a patron of the arts, lived and worked in the late XIX – early XX centuries, has been preserved to this day almost in its original form. The manor house has 9 exhibition halls, restored interiors of the estate of the late XIX century, expositions on the war of 1812, an artists’ gallery, an exhibition hall about the Jews of the Borisov region.
