The Belarusian-Chinese joint venture for the assembly of Chinese passenger cars Geely uses the latest production technologies. Geely cars of Belarusian assembly are certified according to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union 018/2011 (TR CU 018/2011) “On the safety of wheeled vehicles”. The cars are tested according to the EuroNCAP methodology, which includes a number of tests, during which the car is subjected to a number of tests, such as a frontal impact, a side impact and a test simulating a side impact on a pole. All cars have successfully passed the tests and have a high rating, as well as certificates for the installation of the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system.
